Visiting Turvey Abbey
Turvey Abbey and garden is home to a community of Benedictine nuns and as such is not open to the public.
We are not able to offer residential accommodation or to take take bookings for day groups, but we are open for individual day guests.

If you have arranged to meet up with a member of the community, or you are arriving as a guest, please ring the front door bell.
All visitors are welcome to spend time in the main chapel, and are also welcome to take part in our services in the main chapel. We regret that our Blessed Sacrament Chapel remains closed to the public.
If you are looking for Br John or the Turvey Group Centre, you need to go to the Monastery of Christ Our Saviour, which is situated next door to Turvey Abbey. Drive down Jack’s Lane and take the first turn to the left. The Monastery is located at the far end of the gravel drive, Please do not park at the Abbey if you are going to the Monastery.
