Safeguarding

The community of Benedictine Nuns at Turvey Abbey offers hospitality to people of every faith and none. Their life of prayer and service stems from their call by God to love God and love their neighbour. Saint Benedict, echoing Christ, calls each member of the community to love, respect and value each other and all their guests.

The community recognises the absolute necessity of ensuring the protection of all whom they serve. This means that all the sisters who are in any kind of ministry obtain clearance from the Disclosure and Barring Service.
