Coming as a Guest for a Day
Our Guest house is closed until further notice
Some people, rather than just attending a service in the chapel, prefer to stay at the Abbey for a quiet day or part day. Our guest facilities are open to both men and women.
As a day guest, you will have access to our chapels, our gardens, and the use of a room in the guest house.
A ‘day’ is from 10 am to 4 pm. You can collect your guest house keys from the Abbey any time between 10 am and 11.15 am.
You can bring a packed lunch, there is a microwave in the guest house, tea and coffee are provided.
Whilst you are welcome to join us in the chapel for services, there is no obligation to do so.
You can stay at Turvey Abbey as a day guest on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday or Saturday.
If you would like to spend time at the Abbey as a day guest, it is essential that you book in advance with Sr Judith, who can advise you about possible dates, and supply you with all the details. Sr Judith can be contacted either by email or by post.
Whilst we do not take bookings over the phone, if you wish to leave a voicemail message for Sr Judith, you can do so by ringing 01234 881432 and choosing option 2
